Do you have a mouth piercing or are you thinking of getting one?

If you have it or plan to wear one, there are certain aspects that you must take into account:
1️⃣ Remove the piercing to wash it and use an interdental brush to clean inside the "little hole" where the piercing passes. Take special care with your oral hygiene
2️⃣ Keep an eye out for the slightest sign of infection or inflammation, bleeding, discoloration, pus.
3️⃣ Watch for recurring bumps from the piercing when eating and talking about your teeth or soft tissues to watch for potential injuries.
4️⃣ Our recommendation is to avoid its use.
5️⃣ And, above all, visit your dentist frequently to carry out an exhaustive control of the state of your entire mouth.
Remember what our previous post said: Your teeth and oral tissues such as bone do not regenerate, and you must take care of them if you want them to accompany you throughout your life.
